Afimico Pululu attracted a lot of interest in the summer, but he stayed at Jagiellonia Białystok . On the other hand, he still hasn’t extended his contract, which expires at the end of June 2026, and will be free to join another club in January. He’s not complaining about the lack of interest.

According to Goal.pl, a giant from the continent has approached the Democratic Republic of Congo internationally. Al-Ahly, 45-time Egyptian champions, 39-time Egyptian cup winners, and 12-time African Champions League winners (a record in all three categories), have signed the team.

What does the tycoon’s plan look like? “We’re hearing in Egypt that Al Ahly would consider signing Pululu in the winter, and if that doesn’t work out, then in the summer. The Egyptian team’s squad is comprised primarily of locally-born players. The most prominent name is Mahmud Ibrahim Hassan, better known as Trezeguet – a capped 86 times for Egypt (22 goals, 12 assists) and a former player at Aston Villa, Anderlecht, and Trabzonspor, among others. The coach is Dane Jess Thorup, who previously managed KAA Gent (2018-2020), KRC Genk (2020), FC Copenhagen (2020-2022), and FC Augsburg (2023-2025), so in recent years he has managed Kamil Grabara (in Denmark) and Robert Gumny (in Germany).

Perhaps the Egyptian hegemon will be the next club for Afimico Pululu, who will be playing for Jagiellonia Białystok in the coming weeks. His record since the start of the season is 22 appearances, 10 goals, and two assists, while his overall appearances for the Podlasie club, where he joined in the summer of 2023, are 109 matches, 45 goals, and 11 assists.
