River Plate topped the ranking of clubs with the highest average attendance per match in 2025, according to a survey released by the website “Transfermarkt,” which specializes in football transfers and statistics. Besides the Argentinian team, Flamengo was the only other Brazilian club to appear among the top ten.
Among other Brazilian teams, Cruzeiro appears as the second best placed, in 37th position, with an average of 43,100 fans per game. Corinthians comes right behind, in 41st place, with 40,680 fans per game.
After the ranking was released, River Plate published a message celebrating the result, highlighting their world leadership in average attendance for the third consecutive year.
