Abel Ferreira’s Palmeiras falls on penalties and final failure of the Libertadores
Abel Ferreira’s Palmeiras were eliminated by Boca Juniors in the semi-finals of the Copa Libertadores tonight. After a 1-1 draw after 90 minutes (and 0-0 in the first leg), the Argentines were stronger on penalties at Allianz Parque and won 4-2.
