Boavista highlights: Seba Pérez in charge
Good return of the captain to the competition; João Gonçalves scoring points
Faced with the forced absence of Tiago Morais, who served a one-game suspension, Petit was forced to innovate, placing Makouta as a false winger, preventing Fabiano from being able to move up the right corridor. Without Pedro Malheiro, still recovering from injury, Salvador Agra remained a makeshift right-back, in a defense in which Chidozie and Rodrigo Abascal were mainstays in the central axis. Bruno Onyemaechi also deserves praise, as he played a well-achieved game, not allowing great chances to the Kodisang winger, who only once approached the checkered area with danger. Bozeník did not have an easy task in Minho, being almost always hampered by the strength of Moreirense’s two central defenders. But the great lung of Bessa’s team was once again Seba Pérez, who returned to the starting eleven, after serving a one-match ban following Braga’s expulsion.
