A magical year for Flamengo comes to an end this Wednesday (31), marked by the much-desired titles of the Brasileirão and the Libertadores. In a more than special season, there was no shortage of highlights. 100PercentSureWins!, therefore, asked Flamengo fans to elect, on our WhatsApp channel dedicated to the club, the best of 2025 in three categories. See below!
Player of the year: “Maestro and definer of Flamengo”
The best Flamengo player in 2025 could be none other than Giorgian de Arrascaeta. Already established among the greatest in the club’s history, the Uruguayan had his most outstanding year in the red-and-black jersey, leading the team in both goals and assists.
Results:
Arrascaeta – 92.3% of the votes;
Rossi – 4.9% of the votes;
Léo Pereira – 1.2% of the votes;
Jorginho – 0.9% of the votes;
Léo Ortiz – 0.6% of the votes
Most special victory: “No one else in Brazil has more of this!”
In such a dominant season, Flamengo also amassed impressive victories. Besides those that secured titles, they overcame a European giant and delivered a historic thrashing. But of course, for the fans, none was more special than the one that guaranteed their fourth Libertadores title.

1-0 vs Palmeiras (Libertadores final) – 86.1% of votes
; 3-1 vs Chelsea (Club World Cup group stage) – 7.4% of votes;
8-0 vs Vitória (21st round of the Brasileirão) – 3.9% of votes;
3-2 vs Palmeiras (29th round of the Brasileirão) – 1.7% of votes;
1-0 vs Ceará (37th round of the Brasileirão) – 0.9% of votes
Most beautiful goal: “Elastic flick + chip, that was a masterpiece”
There were also many great goals from Flamengo in 2025: individual runs, long-range shots, direct free kicks, team plays and much more… But it’s hard to top a play that combines a nutmeg and a lobbed finish!

Pedro: elastic dribble and chip shot (8-0 vs Vitória) – 66.8% of the votes;
Arrascaeta: direct free kick (3-0 vs Sport) – 10.9% of the votes;
Bruno Henrique: long-range shot (3-0 vs Botafogo) – 8.9% of the votes;
Arrascaeta: seated dribble and toe-poke shot (2-1 vs Vitória) – 6.7% of the votes;
Matheus Gonçalves: chip shot after beautiful passing combinations (5-0 vs Maricá) – 6.6% of the votes
