FC Barcelona will face Chelsea in an absolute Champions League clash at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday. A day before kick-off, the Catalan club announced its squad for the clash. Two Poles, Robert Lewandowski and Wojciech Szczęsny, were among the squad. But there’s also another piece of important news for Barcelona fans.
The day before Barcelona’s blockbuster Champions League clash with Chelsea, we’ve announced their squad. Unsurprisingly, Wojciech Szczęsny and Robert Lewandowski are in the squad, and Joan Garcia, who already played against Athletic Bilbao this weekend, will also return.
Much more attention, however, is being drawn to the return of Marcus Rashford. The Englishman was absent from the squad for the league match against Athletic due to injury, but now he’s back in his homeland. The last time Barcelona played in England, they faced Newcastle United, and Marcus Rashford scored twice to become the Blaugrana’s hero.
Here is Barcelona’s squad for the match against Chelsea
- Goalkeepers: Joan Garcia, Wojciech Szczęsny, Diego Kochen
- Defenders: Alejandro Balde, Ronald Araujo, Pau Cubarsi, Andreas Christensen, Gerard Martin, Jules Kounde, Eric Garcia
- Midfielders: Fermin Lopez, Marc Casado, Dani Olmo, Frenkie de Jong, Marc Bernal, Dro
- Forwards: Ferran Torres, Robert Lewandowski, Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, Marcus Rashford, Roony Bardghji
