As part of the preparation for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, the Ukrainian Olympic team led by Ruslan Rotan will play a friendly match against the Japanese team.

The meeting will take place on March 25, 2024 in Fukuoka at the Mikuni Kitakyushu Stadium. The start time of the fight will be announced later.

Recall that men’s teams will compete for medals at the 2024 Summer Games from July 24 to August 9 in seven cities in France: Paris, Marseille, Lyon, Bordeaux, Saint-Etienne, Nice and Nantes. According to the regulations, players born after January 1, 2001 can take part in the competition. In addition, each team can add three players out of 18 who are older than this age.

A total of 16 teams will take part in the tournament. The format of the Olympic tournament is traditional: fighting in 4 groups of 4 teams, the two strongest advance to the playoffs, then the quarterfinals, semifinals, the match for third place and the final.

By the way, the current winner of the Olympics among men’s teams is Brazil, which defeated Spain in the final in Tokyo 2020.
