The Brazilian women’s national football team will face Portugal, starting at 4:45 pm (Brasilia time) next Tuesday (2) at the Municipal Stadium of Aveiro (Portugal), in its last commitment in the year 2025.

This is Brazil’s second commitment on this European tour. In the first, last Friday (28), the team led by coach Arthur Elias was defeated by Norway by a score of 3-1 at the Estadio Municipal Ciudad de La Línea, located in the province of Cádiz, Spain. The result ended an unbeaten run of eight games for the green and yellow team.
In a press conference held this Monday (1), Arthur Elias stated that the friendly match with the Portuguese team is of great importance in Brazil’s preparation process for the 2027 World Cup: “Portugal has been raising its level, playing at home with the support of the fans, the team is in a good moment. I see that it will be another great game, a great test for us. We are happy with the year that has passed for our national team. We see this game as a fundamental game.”
Full-back Isabela, who plays for PSG (France), stated that she expects a good performance from the Brazilian national team against the Portuguese team: “The Brazilian national team is on a good upward trajectory, already looking ahead to the 2027 World Cup. We prepared very well for this match, even though it was only one day of training with all the players, but it was a very good training session. I believe we will have an excellent game, better than the last one, and come away with a victory.”
