The Africa Cup of Nations reaches its final stages with great national teams.

Of the eight teams still in the tournament, seven have already been champions.

Between Friday (9) and Saturday (10), the quarter-final matches of the African Cup of Nations will take place. With favorites, stars and underdogs, the competition is approaching the grand final, which will be held at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium, in Rabat, Morocco. The hosts are the main candidates for the title, but will face tough competition from other great teams.

Morocco vs. Cameroon

In one of the most anticipated matches of the competition, Morocco faces Cameroon in a star-studded duel. On one side are the hosts of the Africa Cup of Nations, who, with Hakimi, Brahim Díaz, Yassine Bounou and a solid defense, are undefeated in the competition, having conceded only one goal, and are looking for their second title. On the other, Cameroon, with Carlos Baleba and Bryan Mbeumo, will try to eliminate the home team and continue their dream of a sixth title.

The match will be held at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium, on Friday (9), at 4pm.

Mali vs. Senegal

The other quarter-final match will be played between Mali and Senegal. The Malians became the surprise of the competition after knocking out Tunisia in the round of 16, and continue their dream of an unprecedented title. The Senegalese, on the other hand, have several players who were part of the 2021 winning team, such as Édouard Mendy and Sadio Mané, who helped the team in their quest for a second title in the competition.

The match will be held at the Grand Stade de Tanger, on Friday (9), at 1 pm.
