Barcelona coach Hansi Flick asks Deco for a signing: ‘We need it’

Barcelona coach Hansi Flick has made no secret of his desire to strengthen the team’s squad with a new defensive player. Despite acknowledging the difficulty of bringing in a high-profile player during the winter transfer window, he made the request to Deco, the club’s sporting director.
Barcelona’s defense suffered a major blow with Christensen’s injury, who suffered a partial tear of the ACL in his left knee during training on December 20th . According to the newspaper, some names mentioned for the transfer are Nathan Aké , from Manchester City , and Stefan de Vrij , from Inter Milan .
