Brazil’s Flamengo easily defeats América Mineiro (3-0) to take second place.

Flamengo beat América Mineiro 3-0, this Sunday, at Parque do Sabiá, on matchday 35 of the Brasileirão. Despite being a visitor, the Rubro-Negro had almost all the fans in their favor in Uberlândia. Everton Cebolinha opened the scoring in a well-contested first half, with Pedro and Everton Ribeiro scoring the goals in the second half.

This victory left Flamengo in second place in the Brasileirão, with 63 points, behind Abel Ferreira’s Palmeiras on goal difference (26 to 17).
