The regulatory consequences of the disturbances that occurred in the box office at the José Alvalade Stadium during the Clássico match between Sporting and FC Porto on August 30th, the fourth round of the championship, are now known.
At the time, 17 Sporting supporters were injured by falling glass from the area where FC Porto supporters were located. Sporting then filed a complaint with the Disciplinary Council of the Portuguese Football Federation, which has already made a decision.
The aforementioned entity issued a statement this Friday announcing the “temporary ban on the sectors corresponding to the GOA – Organized Supporters Groups, Super Dragões and Coletivo Ultras 95 for one game”, as a sanction.
Furthermore, FC Porto will pay a fine of 3,825 euros for what happened, within the scope of disciplinary proceedings no. 29-25/26.
