Artur Soares Dias is confirmed as the referee of the derby between Benfica and Sporting, the big game of matchday 11 of the League that is scheduled for next Sunday (20:30 pm).
The 44-year-old referee from Porto will have the support of assistants Paulos Soares and Pedro Ribeiro, while Fábio Veríssimo will be the fourth official. At Cidade do Futebol, Tiago Martins, with the support of Luís Godinho, takes on the role of VAR.
Artur Soares Dias has already refereed eight games this season, but only two in LaLiga, as many as he has done in the Champions League. He started by refereeing in the home match of Sp. Braga against Boavista (4-1), on matchday 6, and then in the triumph of Vitória in Famalicão (3-1), in matchday 8.
