“It’s already a tradition”: European champions sing Mariza in the locker room.

It’s already a tradition among national teams when they achieve a major feat: the under-17 team became world champions and in the locker room they sang the song “Melhor de mim” (Best of Me) by Mariza, which they had already sung when they became European champions or when the women’s team qualified for the World Cup.

In unison, in the locker room, the under-17 players showed they knew the song very well, singing it at the top of their lungs. In Qatar, too, Portuguese culture was felt.
