Vangelis Pavlidis remains the league’s top scorer. The Benfica forward has ten goals in 12 league games. Following closely behind the Greek striker is Luis Suárez, who scored twice against Estrela , with nine goals. 

Clayton scored in Rio Ave’s draw with Santa Clara and joined three players with eight goals in the league: Pote (Sporting), Pablo (Gil Vicente) and Schettine (Moreirense).
