Manchester City started with their usual intention of controlling possession, but Leipzig were not prepared to simply sit back and defend throughout the match.City eventually took the lead in the 37th minute when Castello Lukeba accidentally turned the ball into his own net. Whenever Manchester City need an important attacking contribution, Haaland is often one of the players expected to deliver. The Norwegian striker showed his excellent movement inside the penalty area, finding the right position to finish Anderson's delivery and restore City's lead. His goal was particularly important because Leipzig had already demonstrated that they could recover from difficult situations. City needed another moment of quality, and Haaland supplied it.His performance also underlined the importance of having a striker who can turn a promising attacking move into a decisive goal.RB Leipzig Deserved Credit for Their Comeback
