The team from southern Italy beat Pisa 1-0.

The Portuguese duo from Lecce had a night to remember. The club from southern Italy won at home against Pisa, in a match of the 15th round of the Italian championship, by 1-0. 

Tiago Gabriel, a highly regarded central defender in Italy, and right-back Danilo Veiga, a Portuguese under-21 international, started alongside Kialonda Gaspar, an Angolan defender. All three have previously played for Estrela da Amadora.

The only goal of the match was scored by Nikola Stulic, a substitute for Lecce, in the 72nd minute. For Pisa, the Portuguese player Tomás Esteves remained on the bench.

Lecce moves up to 13th place with 16 points. The visitors remain on ten points and are in 18th place, third from last.
