Spanish journalist Jose Alvarez Haya provided sensational news about Xavi’s future at FC Barcelona. It’s hard to believe!

FC Barcelona activists are looking for a new coach who will take over the team after Xavi’s departure at the end of the 2023/24 season. The list of candidates included names such as: Rafael Marquez, Hansi Flick, Xabi Alonso, Juergen Klopp, and Roberto De Zerbi.

Barca is working on finding Xavi’s successor, but it may turn out that… there will be no change of coach of the team, one of whose stars is Robert Lewandowski. At least that’s what sports journalist Jose Alvarez Haya from El Chiringuito TV says.

– Xavi may still change his decision to leave the club. People around the coach say that you never know in football – Jose Alvarez Haya was a real bombshell.

44-year-old Xavi has not yet responded to the sensational speculations. However, he previously made it clear that he would leave the Pride of Catalonia in June 2024 even if his team wins the 2023/24 Champions League.

Interestingly, since the coach announced his decision (it happened after a 3-5 defeat at home to Villarreal on January 27), Barcelona has won four matches (against Osasuna 1-0, Alaves 3-1, Celta 2-1 and Getafe 4-0 ) and drew twice (with Granada 2:2 and Napoli 1:1).
